Issue<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From ticket #5088 – When using Save As<\/strong> in Adobe Acrobat, the dialog box may appear blank, preventing you from saving the file as another name in another location. This issue can occur on both Windows and macOS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cause<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adobe Acrobat attempts to \u201cdisplay online storage options\u201d during the save process. A preference setting can cause the dialog to render incorrectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resolution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disable the online storage option in Acrobat:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat Preferences<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Go to Edit<\/strong> > Preferences<\/strong> (Windows) or Adobe Acrobat<\/strong> > Preferences<\/strong> (macOS).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Navigate to General Settings<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • In the left-hand menu, select General<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Disable Online Storage Option<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • Locate:
          Show online storage when saving files<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Toggle this OFF<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Restart Acrobat<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Close and reopen Adobe Acrobat to apply changes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
            \n\n\n\n

            Alternate Workaround<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            If the issue persists or you need a quick alternative:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • Use Microsoft Print to PDF<\/strong> (Windows) or Print to PDF<\/strong> (macOS):\n
                \n
              • From the print dialog, select the PDF printer option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Save the file manually after printing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Go to the location the file is saved in originally in File Explorer\n
